Céline 2012 Resort

This is so exciting. Céline, my favourite minimalist designer label has launched its 2012 Resort Collection.

I am reviewing the collection and some looks smell really fishy to me.

I couldn't accept the bold prints on the skirt at first, but i kind of like it now after the second look.

Céline T-shirt

Over sized and over daring flora printed suit under the grayish transparent trench coat. 

Sorry Phoebe. Nice shirt, nice leather capri and nice glove but the combination really doesn't work to me.
(I know it is a Resort collection. I wonder is she going to catch some fish from the river?)

Does she need a scarf belt to complete her Resort look?

Out of all the 27 looks, cabas tote still catches my eyes.
Phoebe you should launch your own accessories line. I will be your biggest fan.
I estimate the vertical cabas tote is big enough to carry her one week grocery shopping from the wet market.
The Céline black leather gloves will be the most fashionable gloves to select fishes.

My favourite chic Céline look

please, no gloves, no bags and not that pair of heels.

I love this look, again Phoebe's classic Céline look.
However, she must be the wet market fish sales (Of course, the most fashionable fish sales in the wet market).
The black skirt is her apron, where she puts her money.

This is the 13th look from the collection
However, i do feel that it is more appropriate to place it right after look 22nd
the story is: 'i am going to rush to the bank to deposit money, so my fish stall is only open half day'

Great look with Fuchia pants but can you return the belt to her?

Okay i thought i would love the collection very much. Phoebe Philo does continue the Céline collection with her minimalistic designs. However, there are quite a few designs and combinations that confuses me.

I think Phoebe has a great skill on the apparel cuttings.
Céline' RTW are so chic after Phoebe joins the French house, especially the suits and jumpsuits.
However,  the model does not pull off the over sized flora suits to me
I highly recommend Anna Dello Russo to wear this.

I would appreciate if the dress has short helms, few inches above the knee.
I still do not like the gloves.
This would be the best Friday dress for fish sales in wet market.

I am quite entertained but kind of disappointed with the styles. Anyway, its a Resort collection, i will look forward to the 2012 SS.

I cant wait for get my Céline Medium Luggage Tote.
